Haiti - Social : Martelly deplores the fire at market of Delmas 31
The President of the Republic, Michel Martelly, deplores the fire occurred on the evening of October 17 to 18, 2012 at the private home of Mr. Wilfrid Germain, located at Rue Stella, Delmas 31, which serves of public market and houses other commercial establishments including of cash transfer houses.

According to the testimonies of some inhabitants of the area, sporadic gunfire were heard during the night, a little before the fire broke out.

According to a first observation, all the goods are gone up in smoke, causing losses estimated at several million gourdes.

The President of the Republic invites the authorities concerned to take all necessary measures to find the perpetrators of this malicious act in order to bring them to justice.
