Haiti - Economy : Important Canadian Trade Mission in Haiti Monday

At the initiative of the Consul General of Haiti in Montreal, Justin Viard, an important trade mission (second) composed of 14 entrepreneurs and directors of Canadian companies will visit Haiti from November 5 to 7, in order to explore investment opportunities in various sectors: engineering, agribusiness, infrastructure, tourism, renewable energy and waste treatment.

Among entrepreneurs of the mission :

Martin Quiton, Representative of "Rosenberg International" (specializing in waste management and renewable energy); ;

Jimmy André Duroseau CEO of the company "Safety Security" ;

Clerveau Jean Henry, Deputy Director of the company "Safety Security" ;

Evens Pierre-Louis, President of the company "BetonKoavek" ;

Josselin Fleurant, Président of Réseau Fidelis Inc. (Ticketing company) ;

Joseph Colin, president of "K-Fou Colin Hôtel" ;

Esther Petit and Edwige Pierre of services and planning of "Haïti Go" (travel and tourism) ;

Jean-Gary Cadet, representing of the engineering firm "Gestech International Inc." (specialized in infrastructure) ;

Gérard Augustin, President of Gérard Augustin of "NKOSI Corp Holding" (concrete construction) ;

Joseph Davis, Vice-President of "Green Energy Limited" (renewable energy)

On the agenda of the delegation are scheduled several meetings with the Ministers : of the Public Works, Agriculture, Trade, Tourism, Energy and of the Youth. The delegation should also meet with: the Investment Adviser to the Prime Minister, the Privy Councillor of the President Martelly in reconstruction, economy and investment, the Director General of the EDH, the Secretary of State for Public Security and the Director General of Investment facilitation center.
