Haiti - U20 Football : The Grenadiers are qualified for Mexico
After its victory Monday against Curacao (2-1), our U20 National Selection, very determined, and despite the expulsion of Johnley Chéry [during the match against Curacao], has won brilliantly at Waterhouse Stadium in Kingston, its second match against Trinidad & Tobago (2-0), thanks to the goals of vice-captain and midfielder Junior Luckner Hora (31') of the Aigle Noir and of a second goal on penalty, of captain Mardochée Samuel Pompée (48'), national champion of Valencia FC.

With this victory, Haiti takes the head of the Group A and valid its ticket for the final round of qualifiers to be held in Puebla, Mexico in February 2013 for the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2013 (to be held in Turkey).

Our youth Granadiers, that need only a draw to finish top of Group A, hope to make a flawless [3 victories], by facing tomorrow the team of Puerto Rico. The chances for Puerto Rico to qualify are very thin, considering that our Grenadiers [at home], had concluded by a draw (0-0) against this team.

Recall that the first two of each group will qualify for the final stage which will be played in Mexico, from 18 February to 2 March 2013 with the participation of twelve teams divided into three groups of four. Three teams of the the Confederation of North, Central and the Caribbean (CONCACAF) will qualify for the finals of the World Cup U-20 of the FIFA which will take place from June 21 to July 13, 2013 in Turkey.

Current Rank Group A
1st: Haiti six points (+ 3)
2nd: Trinidad & Tobago, 3 points (0)
3rd: Puerto Rico, 3 points (-1)
4th: Curacao, 0 point (-3)
