Haiti - Justice : Fake military, real arrests...
Of informations come to the attention of the Government and especially to the Ministry of Defence, indicates that individuals, pretending to be demobilized soldiers, were preparing to hold public demonstrations to put pressure on government authorities to obtain undue privileges.

The Ministry of Defence wishes to remind, that the Government has already made a commitment to assist demobilized soldiers identified and recorded in the proper definition of this category of citizens, who deserve all consideration and have already received two tranches of compensation, the remaining third will be paid in a relatively short time.

Jean Rodolphe Joazile, the Minister of Defense, recalls that the "Government will not tolerate any drift from usurpers of titles, who would come disturb public order and peace in homes. He asks to the demobilized soldiers authentic, to avoid any relationships with these troublemakers, in order to preserve their prestige and image of the military institution. Moreover, formal instructions have been passed to the police in order to repress with the utmost rigor, any movement organized on behalf of demobilized soldiers by malicious individuals who have, only one and the same objective : jeopardize the fragile democracy."

In addition, an operation of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) has allowed Thursday, the arrest of a thirty individuals in lattice with false cards, which pretended to be soldiers. Information confirmed by Me Lény Telisma, the Commissioner of the Government of Croix-des-Bouquets.
