Haiti - Sports : 3 new Multi-sports fields
After Soleil 7, it is the turn of Bérécourt (Cité Soleil), Fanmi Park (Solino) and Sayé (Carrefour Feuilles) to have been chosen to host soon a Multi-sports fields. Basketball, volleyball, handball are the main disciplines that can be performed on these fields, equipped with cloakroom with toilet, a platform for spectators and a podium. With these 3 new fields, it is 4 of 10 projects, that the government has promised to build in neighborhoods that will emerge.

Jean René Roosevelt, Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action has proceeded this week at the laying of the foundation stone on each of these future multi-sport, which should be inaugurated in about 4 months.

In Bérécourt, the Minister declared "This is a young government, that wishes to improve the situation of young people, who work for youth. It is in this sense that we build, repair or make the rehabilitation of fields here and there, in order to offer young people a way to recreate healthy."
