The President Michel Martelly, will leave the country this Tuesday for an official visit to Cuba from 27 to 29 November 2012, to proceed with the signing of various agreements (a total of 7) on Health, Literacy, Agriculture and mechanical services ; Review and strengthen the bilateral cooperation ; Strengthen the ties of friendship and solidarity between the two countries.

During his stay, President Martelly, will will have various working meetings with the Cuban authorities, including a coordination meeting of the collaboration between the two Republics. Discussions are also planned with personalities working in the local development.

The Head of State, will take the opportunity to lay wreaths at the foot of the national hero of the Republic of Cuba, José Martí, as well as Haitian hero Toussaint Louverture and Alexandre Pétion.

The President hopes on his return, meet with parliamentarians, unavailable Monday afternoon in order to continue the discussions on the organization of next elections.
