Haiti - Reconstruction : 3-day visit to Cuba of President Martelly 27/11/2012 10:48:08
During his stay, President Martelly, will will have various working meetings with the Cuban authorities, including a coordination meeting of the collaboration between the two Republics. Discussions are also planned with personalities working in the local development. The Head of State, will take the opportunity to lay wreaths at the foot of the national hero of the Republic of Cuba, José Martí, as well as Haitian hero Toussaint Louverture and Alexandre Pétion. The President hopes on his return, meet with parliamentarians, unavailable Monday afternoon in order to continue the discussions on the organization of next elections. Note that Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism accompanies the President in his official visit to Cuba.
