Haiti - Culture : New cultural program to showcase young talent

Thursday, Jean Mario Dupuy, Minister of Culture presented the program "PIKLIZ", a weekly cultural program designed to create a new interface of leisure and showcase young talent not yet confirmed. "PIKLIZ" will also allow to value their creativity and build a relationship with the public.
This weekly meeting will be held at the Palacio Municipal Delmas 33. Given budgetary constraints, the Minister stated that the program will be implemented initially in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince and specified that he intended to develop a partnership with the private sector to expand the project to all departments.
The agency "Hibiscus Multimedia Company" is the bearer of the program "Pikliz" on behalf of the Ministry of Culture. According to Martine Chandeler, Head of Agency Hibiscus, , there will be a pre-registration phase [phone: (509) 3170 9568] for auditions. Before performing on stage, young talents will will participate in repeating sessions.
