Haiti will participate in the International Convention for Health, which will take place from Monday 3 to 7 December 2012, to the Conventions Palace in Havana, Cuba, alongside forty other ministers of countries having confirmed their participation include : Grenada, Costa Rica, Mozambique, Saint Lucia, El Salvador, India, Kuwait, the Cook Islands, Cape Verde, Haiti, Aruba, Jamaica, Brazil, Guatemala, Burkina Faso, Suriname and Uruguay.

Trinidad and Tobago, Seychelles, Pakistan, Equatorial Guinea, Bolivia, Guyana, Dominica, Angola, South Africa, Chile, Sierra Leone, Ecuador and Qatar are in the list of participants in this important international convention.

Sponsored by international organizations, "Cuba Salud 2012", will analyze the global health situation "For Health and the welfare of all", is the theme of the forum, which included among others, the promotion and intersectoral action, the impact of changes in the health sector, the quality of services and the results of the health indicators of the Cuban population.

The role of social communication in the well-being of people, the health and quality of life, the promotion of health in the society and economic policies, socials and of health, will be discussed by the participants.

Parallel to the Convention, there will be a trade fair, where specialized companies, laboratories and institutions, domestic and foreign, will exhibit and sell their medical devices, pharmaceuticals products and services.
