Haiti - Social : «International Day of People with Disability»
The Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH), will proceed this Sunday to a ceremony to commemorate the International Day of People with Disability which will take place this year under the theme "Lwa sou Entegrasyon Moun Andikape : yon zouti ki garanti aksè Moun Andikape nan tout nivo. Annou tout aplikel !" his day will be also marked by a exhibition of photographs and an exhibition-sale of works by people with disabilities.
Gérald Oriol, Jr., Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities has indicated "December 3 we will launch of activities of reflection, of awareness and also cultural activities with the disability sector. I want to say that all these activities will be conducted in partnership with civil society and international organizations."
A solidarity march in favor of people with disabilities, will start from the Kiosk Occide Jeanty, at Champs de Mars, from 2:00 pm to arrive at Stade Sylvio Cator where which will be held on Monday, a football match, in partnership with the Haitian Association of Amputee Football "today there are several football clubs amputated, not only in Port-au-Prince, but also in several cities of province. There will be also handisport activities that day [...] o really worth all the talent of people with disabilities," pointed out the Secretary Oriol "we also plan to make a presentation of the laws on the integration of people with disabilities at the University Quisqueya."
