Haiti - Diplomacy : New Ambassador of Chile in Haiti

Monday at the National Palace, President Michel Martelly, received the credentials of Mr. Raúl Fernández Daza, the new Ambassador of Chile accredited in Haiti [former Consul General of Chile in Chicago].
This ceremony of credentials was an opportunity for the President Martelly, to insist on the business opportunities offered in Haiti in the field of infrastructure, energy, tourism and fishing.
The new Ambassador announced the visit of Chilean President Haiti, Mr. Miguel Juan Sebastián Piñera Echenique. No date has been set yet. The Chilean President will be accompanied, during his visit, by a delegation of Chilean businessmen.
The signature to Port-au-Prince, of an agreement of reciprocal protection of investments, could be a highlight of this presidential visit.
