Haiti - Social : National Carnival 2013 in Cap-Haitien

As part of the decentralization national Carnival advocated by President Martelly, the Edition 2013, will be held at Cap-Haitien on 10, 11 and 12 February 2013.
On Tuesday, the Northern Regional Office of the Ministry of Tourism has received a delegation led by Ms. Elza Baussan Noël, representative of the Primature and of the President of the Organizing Committee of Carnival came to meet the authorities of the Northern Department on the preparations for the realization of National Carnival 2013.
At a round table attended by several Departmental Directors and Delegates, Ms. Elsa Baussan Noël, explained that the objective of the Carnival 2013, was to sell another image of Haiti to foreigners and to promote Haitian culture and tourist attractions of the region. Ardrouin Zéphyrin, Departmental Delegate North promised to do everything possible to make of these national Carnival activities, a great success.
A local monitoring committee, public-private was established with the support of the National Coordination Committee.
