It also helped to rehabilitate about 100 km of roads, including the section from Leogane to Jacmel. In addition, many public sites have been cleaned and of channels clean out through intervention. 17 dredging operations of rivers to prevent flooding have been carried out. In the health sector, the company has conducted free consultations to 60,000 patients and improved the water supply of the population léogânaise. As a contribution to the academic and professional training of youth in the region, it has offered courses in computer science, Taekwondo and handling of heavy equipment. We were informed that Colonel Beomgi Yoon, Commander of the Korean military engineering company, donated on behalf of his Government, of equipment, materials and camp facilities worth approximately U.S. $ 9.5 million, to the Government of Haiti, provided they are used for non-military purposes.
