Didier Le Bret, Ambassador of France in Port-au-Prince, whose mandate ends, received Friday at the National Palace, of President Michel Martelly, the Medal of National Order of Honour and Merit, grade Grand Cross Silver Plate, for his involvement in the cause of Haiti.

"You will be able again, even far, bring your contribution to the development of Haiti. Thank you for your commitment !" declared the Head of State, who congratulated the outgoing Ambassador, to have been entirely at the service of the country, to the strengthening of the rule of law and judicial reform in Haiti.

For his part, Mr. Didier Le Bret, who expressed his sadness of having to leave Haiti, praised the merits of President Martelly and declared "Haiti is a huge boat, by its uniqueness and the President Martelly is committed is committed to take it safely, despite its fragility."
