Haiti - Education : Completion of the Training Workshop on Entrepreneurship

Friday, Wilson Laleau, Minister of Trade and Industry, participated in the closing ceremony of the training workshop on entrepreneurship, organized by the "Business Support Services" (Service d’Appui aux Entreprises - SAE) of the Ministry, for 39 graduating students, coming from 9 vocational and technical schools in the country.
The Minister Laleau, took the opportunity to recognize the dynamism of the participants. During the brief conversation he had with students, he stressed the importance for Haiti to have of entrepreneurs for its social and economic development. He also explained to them that oday the country needs men and women with a sense of initiative, knowing take risks and take the decisions that are necesary "If we want out of poverty, you must take action," he advised the students.
In addition, Mr. Laleau indicated that the organization of such a seminar was the first of a series of similar activities, that the Ministry intended to organize to the profits of youth of the country adding that the Ministry plans to expand in the future, these types of training in the ten departments of country.
"It is important to know how to create a business and get a business plan. These types of training will be very useful to us within the framework of the preparation and planning for the future of the country. That's why we need more young people enroll in this dynamic. The Ministry in turn, will take accompanying measures by helping them to find opportunities," declared the Minister.
