The Office of Communication of the Presidency informs the population that by presidential decree, dated January 8, 2013, Saturday, January 12, 2013 is declared day of remembrance and reflection dedicated to the memory of the victims of the earthquake of January 12, 2010.

During that day which is not a public holiday or nonworking, the national flag will be flown at half mast, nightclubs and similar establishments remain closed, and radio and television are invited to schedule programs and music for the occasion.
