Tuesday, the Tourist Association of Haiti (ATH) met, at the hotel Karibe, in General Assembly in order to elect a new Executive Council [2013-2015], and pay tribute to the leadership of 4 personalities in the tourism sector.

Elected member of the new Executive Council of the ATH :

President : Richard Buteau,

Vice President : Robin Padberg ,

Secretary : Béatrice Nadal-Mevs

Treasurer : Nicole Gardere,

Hotel owners, tour operators, restaurateurs and representatives of the Ministry of Tourism took part, after the General Assembly, to a cocktail, in which the ATH, proceeded to a delivery of plaques, in honor of merit and leadership of 4 personalities.

Personalities honored by ATH :

• Stéphanie B. Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, represented in her absence, by her Managing Director Josette Darguste for his dedication and dynamism in the development of the Tourism Industry in Haiti "In just one year, the Minister accomplished what someone else in her position would take more than five years to achieve," declared Josette Darguste.

• Pierre Chauvet, President of the ATH 2009-2012, for his unwavering commitment to the radiation of the ATH

• Richard Buteau, Karibe Hotel for his continued support to the activities and to the and development of the Tourism Association of Haiti.

• Wilhelm Frisch, Enterprise Deschamps-Frisch, for his continuous support to the ATH
