Following the announcement of the hotel occupancy in the City of Cap-Haitien, the Northern Regional Office of the Ministry of Tourism has opened a register of private homes that can accommodate Haitian and foreign visitors who come to live the experience of the National Carnival in the City Christophienne. The population of the Department adopted the idea and has put rooms available to all revelers who want a pleasant stay in the North.

Approximately 1,000 guest rooms (homestay) that meet the criteria of the Regional Office of Tourism, have been identified and are now available to accommodate visitors to the National Carnival, which runs from 10 to 12 February in the Northern Metropolitan.

Northern Regional Office of the Ministry of Tourism as a regulator promised to put in contact all potential tourists with the owners of these rooms, whichwill reserve a warm welcome to the revelers.

Note that the Cruise Ship "Adriana" with its 131 cabins from 12 to 16 square meters, that can accommodate 240 people, will anchor in the harbor of Cap-Haïtien, to increase the number of hotel rooms that will be available for National Carnival.
