Friday, thirty Haitians and foreigners cyclists took the departure of the first edition of MTB race in Haiti, Port-au-Prince / Marigot, organized by Mountain Bike Ayiti (MTB Ayiti) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-7777-haiti-sports-haiti-s-first-ever-mountain-bike-race.html

For this first edition, the Haitian have excelled alongside professionals and world champions like Marla Streb, Hans Rey among others, by winning two places on the podium, the Haitian Joseph Willy won the race while his compatriot Holrich Abnel finished in third position.

The riders were welcomed Saturday at gîte "La Colline enchantée" (on the Habitation Anse Colin, Marigot) among other by Stéphanie Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, Magalie Racine, Minister of Youth and Sports and civic actions as well as many sponsors of the competition.
