Saturday around 4:30 pm the Cap Haitien welcomed with pride, just hours before the National Carnival, the cruise ship MV Adriana of the Tropicana Cruise line, who has anchored in the harbor of the metropolis of the North. From 9 to 12 February, the Adriana will serve as hotel and will host on board, about 300 people near the route of the Carnival.

In addition, the Royal Palace of Christophe [in Milot] was the scene of a sumptuous feast on the occasion of the Queens Ball (22) and of Kings (32) from schools of Cap-Haitien. Characters bearing colonial costumes have strutted in the courtyard of the palace of King builder, like in the 19th century. An exceptional ball, for an exceptional city !

In Cap Haitien, the nights preceding the first fat days [Sunday] were transformed into veritable carnival evenings. The Capois so far have have be at the height and they will confirm it undoubtedly during the three fat days of National Carnival 2013, to make of this edition a success story.
