Haiti - Social : BélO performing at the Petion-ville prison

Thursday at 11:00 am, on the occasion of the Feast of St. Valentine, the famous Haitian artist BélO [33] will give a performance to the civil prison for women in Petion-ville, [the city where he grew up] accompanied by the artists Ume and Sébastien Pierre, under the direction of Fabrice Rouzier.

With the experience of last year, BélO decided to dedicate again this Valentine's Day, to the women often forgotten and despised by society, by honoring them.

Through the project "Femmes à aimer" (Women to love), BélO sends a message to the inmates of prisons, to remind them that they are not forgotten, that their courage is appreciated and that they deserve better living conditions.

With this event, BélO hoping to attract the attention of the Haitian judicial system, who set aside these women, who are waiting in vain for the most of them, a judgment for years...

A snack and a distribution of gifts collected by his fans, friends and partners is at the program.
