Haiti - Tourism : New hotel project in Les Cayes

Tuesday, February 19, 2013, the construction project of the hotel "Blu Shangri La, Hotel Resort" of a capacity of 105 rooms, was presented to officials of the Ministry of Tourism.
This project also includes a convention center, a theater hall and several playgrounds, will be built in the zone of Gelée in Les Cayes, 10 minutes walk from the future international airport Antoine Simon.
Extending over 3.5 carreaux of land, this new hotel hopes to attune with the efforts undertaken by the authorities of the Ministry of Tourism to promote the destination South, stressed Richard Jean and Kettelie Guillite Thomas, two promoters of the project.
Work should begin before June 2013.
