Haiti - Politic : Important working session at the Ministry of Communication
Saturday, February 23, Régine Godefroy, Minister of Communications held an important working session with all the new Directors of the Ministry. The emphasis was put mainly on the immediate recovery of administrative irregularities, the revitalization of the Directorate of Communication, the professionalization of the Directorate technology and of Social Media and the structuration of the Directorate of Intelligence and of the Interdepartmental Directorate for better dissemination of government action throughout the territory.
The rapid regularization of the status of employees by taking into account their competences, by the human resources department ; the dynamization of the Legal Directorate for the urgent development of bylaws ; the mobilization of delegates from autonomous bodies under the supervision of Ministry, in particular, the Radio Television Nationale d'Haiti (RTNH) and the Presses Nationales d'Haiti, were also on the agenda of the meeting, which ended with the commitment of all, to immediately overdrive to make operational the Directorates in question, this, from Monday, February 25, 2013.
"The primary mission of the Ministry is to faithfully relay, in real time, the governmental action, in this sense, we must be structured, strong, proactive and professional in order to inform [...] the Haitian people in Haiti and abroad," declared the Minister Godefroy at the end of this important meeting.
