Following the visit of the Head of Government in Vietnam, from 16 to 18 December 2012, Mr. Nguyen Bac Son, Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communication, at the head of an important delegation arrived Sunday in Haiti.

Mr. Nguyen Bac Son, will be received by the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, at the Primature this Monday. At this meeting, it will be discussed among other things, of new provisions relating to telecommunications in the context of cooperation between Haiti and Vietnam.

Moreover, in the framework of strengthening of the food security of the Haitian people, as advocated by the administration Martelly-Lamothe, it will be also question of the upcoming arrival of the first shipment of rice.

On the sidelines of this meeting, the Prime Minister and the Vietnamese delegation will make a inventory of the cooperation between Haiti and Vietnam.
