Haiti - Tourism : The Japanese make tourism in Haiti

As part of a trip organized by the tour operator Nihombashi (Tokyo) and La Citadelle (Haiti), a group of 10 Japanese tourists visited Haiti from 18 to 24 February. Their tourist package included : one night in Port-au-Prince, three nights in the île-à-Vache, one night in Jacmel and two nights at Cap-Haitien.

In Port-au-Prince they visited the Musée du Panthéon National Haïtien (MUPANAH), the Observatory of Boutilliers, the Historic Park of the Sugar Cane, and spent the night at the Hotel Le Plaza.

riday, the Northern Regional Office of the Ministry of Tourism announced that it received the group of Japanese tourists who came to discover the wonders of the Destination North of Country. They visited the National Historic Park which is composed of the Citadelle La Ferriere, the Sans-Souci Palace and of Sites of Ramiers.

The Japanese group has explored the Historic Downtown of Cap-Haitien [National Heritage Site since 1995] full of history and architectural beauty. During their stay in the North, they were housed in the Hotel Mont-Joli.
