Monday, Wilson Laleau, Minister of Commerce and Industry has proceeded to the installation of the new Director General of Haitan Postal Service (Office des Postes d'Haïti - OPH), Ms. Chancenade François.

In his speech, the Minister Laleau, praised the work done by the previous Director of the institution, Ms. Régine Godfrey, recently promoted Minister of Communication and said he was confident about the continuation of the success of actions within the OPH, "because Ms. François has participated fully in the conduct of work in progress."

Finally, the Minister said to rely on the sense of public service of employees of the OPH to assist the new Director to carry out its task effectively.

The new director said she wanted to perform this function in the sense of continuity. "Innovations will also be undertaken for a modern postal administration," she promised. The new Director hopes to provide a quality service to customers, in order to rehabilitate the public service, as promised by the Head of State.
