Haiti - Reconstruction : Inauguration of new building of the CSC

Friday, Ms. Nonie H. Mathieu, President of the Superior Court of Auditors and Administrative Disputes (CSC/CA) in the presence of President Michel Martelly, parliamentarians and several executives of the CSC/CA, has proceeded, as part of the modernization of state institutions, at the inauguration of the new modern building, located at the corner of Avenue Christophe and Street 6 of the instituion which was completely destroyed during the earthquake of January 2010. This is Mgr. Quesnel Alphonse, who proceeded to the blessing of the new headquarters of the Superior Court of Auditors.

In her speech for the occasion, Nonie H. Mathieu said she was proud of this beautiful building, financed to the tune of 62 million Gourdes and built by the firm BUGECA S.A. and thanked the various institutions and stakeholders as public and private, that have enabled the construction of the new building "The Court has been on the streets for years. Today, we have our local [...]" convinced that this ultra-modern building will provide a framework ideal to dynamize the staff in order to obtain still more results.

In his speech, the President Martelly has warmly congratulated the President of the Superior Court of Auditors stating that "This is a first in the history of the CSC / CA to have a woman at its head and even today, this is a first with this building," announcing in the wake the beginning of the era of the anti-corruption "We have a moral duty to ensure the proper functioning of our institutions. The CSCCA must take action against unscrupulous officials and fully play the role of police in our public finances," stressed the Head of State.
