The Association "Haiti Future" announces the openingof candidatures for the Scholarships «Valencia Mongérard» for the academic year 2013-2014. This scholarship is for a period of two years at the University Paris-Est Marne la Vallée in France, aims to provide a training in 2nd university cycle, for a Master 1 in Economic expertise and a Master 2 in Expertise of Employment and Skills [Development Economics and International Project Management].

Interested candidates must be Haitian nationality and reside in Haiti ; be holder of a license in Economics ; justify very good academic results ; have a good ability to analyze and synthesize ; ready to commit themselves to return to work in Haiti for at least 5 years and have a good knowledge of English.

Your application must include: your CV, a motivation letter (2 pages maximum) describing your academic and professional ; your interest for the Master and your future plans and your academic results (Baccalaureate II to the last year of license).

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The final results will be announced in May 2013.

The candidate selected will travel to Paris in the month of September 2013 and will have to be involved in the Association Haiti Future, coordinator of the scholarship. The Requirements: Passport valid for at least twelve 12 months; extract of birth certificate dated after February 1, 2008 ; Graduation Degree (Licence) and transcript of notes.

Created in 2010, born of a partnership between Haiti Future, Alpha Group and the University Paris-Est Marne la Vallée, this scholarships is given in tribute to Mongérard Valencia, Haitian, a former student Emeritus of the University of Marne-la-Vallée, a former intern at Groupe Alpha and a member of Future Haiti. Eager to return to his country of Haiti and get involved in the training of young academics, Valencia was working at the Institut Aimé Césaire, and she died at the age of 24 during the earthquake of January 2010.
