Haiti - Politic : 34th Conference of the CONFEJES
Monday, Magalie Racine, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, arrived in Niamey, capital of Niger [West Africa], to attend the 34th Conference of Ministers of Youth and Sports of States and Governments who share the French language (CONFEJES). Forty Member States of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), as well as several sports personalities and of youth organizations will participate in this great event which takes place on 7 and 8 March 2013.

Two days before the opening of the 34th Conference, the Minister Racine began negotiations with Mahamat Adoum, the Chadian Minister of Youth and Sports, and Amadou Saleh Oumarou, the High Commissioner for Modernity of Niger State, on the candidacy of Haiti for the organization and holding of the 35th CONFEJES in 2015. Wednesday, she met other personalities and delegates in order to attract their votes in favor of Haiti.

Determined to work throughout in favor of Haitian youth, the Minister Racine, intends to use this space for dialogue and action that is the CONFEJES not only to seek the expertise and support of its members in the field of youth and sports, but also to present Haiti under a new day and attract potential investors of the Francophone world.
