Friday, the General Coordination of the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH) joined the General Secretariat of the Primature to thank the Directors General of the Ministries, the Executives of the Primature and the President for their active participation in the Second Forum of Directors General of the Ministries, which was held Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the National Palace.

Remember that this forum is a platform of discussions, of exchanges and debates between the Directors General of the Ministries to make advance the Reform of the State. Régine Godfrey, Minister of Communication, one of the speaker at the forum, reiterated the importance to engage to strengthen the coherence and synergy between the various departments, each in their area of sectoral ​​responsibility.

This forum is also a space where the Directors General have the opportunity to explain the problems of the administration and of its human resources, in order to satisfy the basic needs of the population and achieve the Millennium Development Goals.

The points which have been the subject of discussion, analysis and recommendations in this second Forum are :

• Monitoring and evaluation of projects of the Ministries ;

• New working method for the preparation of Balance Sheet of the Governmental Action ;

• Improving the visibility of the governmental action and the importance of communication with the Press ;

• Progress of the State Reform ;

• Public Finance Reform ;

• Public administration reform and of the Public Service.

Speaking in the framework of this Forum, the President Michel Martelly, has among other, reminded to the Directors General, that the change he advocates, passes through the improvement of quality of services offered to the population, while inviting them to see the positions they hold as a commitment to serve. He stressed the need to deliver results to improve as soon as possible, the conditions of life of the population. He finally asked to them, among others, to participate actively in the struggle he is currently undertaking against corruption.

It is planned to hold another forum Monday, March 25, 2013, to the intention of Directors General of autonomous organizations placed under guardianship.
