Haiti - Politic : The Executive met its 3 representatives to the CEP
As part of the process of implementation of the College Transitional of Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP), the President of the Republic, Michel Martelly, had a meeting of several hours in the evening of Monday, March 11, 2013 with the three Representatives of the Executive Branch to the Permanent Electoral Council (CEP).

This meeting, which was held in a very cordial atmosphere, aimed to take into account the agreement signed December 24, 2012 between the Executive and Legislative particularly regarding the possibility for the Executive to withdrawal one or all of its members already serving in the Permanent Electoral Council, if it deems appropriate [Article 4 of the Agreement of 24 December 2012, mentions " In the framework of this agreement, the Executive, if circumstances require, may obtain the withdrawal of one or all of its representatives already appointed and installed to the Permanent Electoral Council."]

Throughout the discussions, which were very successful, the three electoral advisers have shown great dedication and openness, what presage a successful outcome to the current impasse.

While welcoming the pace taken by the exchanges with these valorous Representatives of the Executive in the Permanent Electoral Council, the President of the Republic reiterates once again his determination and commitment to facilitate the smooth running, during this same year, of elections free, transparent, democratic and inclusive in the country.
