Haiti - Reconstruction : Laurent Lamothe received the Ambassador of Mexico in Haiti

Tuesday, Laurent Lamothe received at his private residence, the Mexican Ambassador in Haiti, Luis Manuel Lopez Moreno and Mr. Gonzalez Ruera, Executive Director of the CEMEX (CEmentos MEXicanos), a Mexican multinational, 3rd world producers of cement and world leader in the concrete.

During this meeting, to which took part, Mrs. Marie Carmelle Jean-Marie, Minister of Economy and Finance, and the engineer Philippe Cinéas, Secretary of State for Public Works, several issues were discussed, including the construction of a hospital in Ouanaminthe, the electrification of the hospital of Gonaives and the construction of several buildings to house public market.

Following this meeting, the Prime Minister reiterated to his interlocutors the willingness of his Government to strengthen the cooperation between Haiti and Mexico and renewed his commitment to work for the benefit of the Haitian people.
