Haiti - Agriculture : Distribution of 5,000 seed kits

Earlier this week, as part of the program "Kore Peyizan", Marie Mimose Félix, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister to promote the peasantry proceeded to the distribution of 1,500 seed kits in Chambellan and 1,000 other in Moron, two municipalities of the department of Grand Anse. These kits were distributed directly to 2,500 most needy peasants at the department level.
Very excited, these small farmers do not hide their satisfaction stressing that this was the first time that the Government thought to establish social programs to help the neediest people in society.
Wednesday, 2,500 kits other Kits have been distributed in the municipalities of Beaumont, Corail and Pestel.
These distributions will allow beneficiaries to increase their income in the next three months.
