Sunday, within the framework of the preparation of Grenadiers to the 12th Gold Cup, to be held in the USA, from 7 to 28 July, the Grenadiers, who faced the Quisqueyanos [trained by Cuban Domingo Hernandez] at the Estadio Panamericano in San Cristoba Dominican Republic, have undergone for the first time in their history a defeat against the Dominicans (3-1), despite the presence of many Haitian supporters in the stands.

Since its qualification in December 2012 for the Gold Cup, the Grenadiers were unable to win one of four test matches including the one played Sunday [Haiti-Chili on January 19 (3-0), Haiti-Bolivia on February 6 (2-1), Haiti-Oman on March 20 (3-0)]

Following this meeting, Luckner Horat Junior (Black Eagle AC) declared "We made three defensive errors and Dominicans have took the opportunity to register 3 goals. For the rest, we were dominating but unfortunately we were not able to realize our actions."
