Thursday in Miami, Régine Godefroy, Minister of Communication, participated in the ceremony commemorating the 7th anniversary of the radio program "Koze Fanm".

The Minister, who was warmly welcomed at the event, stressed in her speech the importance of women in the development process of Haiti. Recalling with pride that the Administration Martelly-Lamothe ttaches great importance to the integration of women in the upper echelons of power management in Haiti. "The Government of Haiti has about 47% of women who work to implement the Government's overall plan and enhance the image of our beloved Haiti." Education and professional expertise of women are essential for the development of Haiti, said Ms. Godefroy, who calls women in the diaspora to return to Haiti, to share their experiences and participate in the institutional strengthening.

During the anniversary ceremony, the Minister received a plaque Honor and Merit and an ovation as a woman of courage. Régine Godefroy did not fail to share her vision of the Ministry of Communication, its role of liaison between the Government and the Haitian population, between the Government and the Haitian Press in Haiti and abroad, to allow our countrymen to inform themselves in the best conditions and the efforts made by the Haitian authorities to bring wellness to the Haitian people.
