Haiti - Diplomacy : Two new ambassadors in Haiti

Friday, April 5 at the National Palace, the President Michel Martelly, received the credentials of two new Ambassadors accredited to Port-au-Prince. They are, Mr. Godfrey Gordon Rolle of the Bahamas and Mr. José Rafael Torres Castro of Costa Rica.

The Head of State, who warmly welcomed the diplomats, reassured them of his willingness to work towards the strengthening of ties of friendship and cooperation between Haiti and their countries.

This same desire was also expressed by the new Ambassadors, who renewed the commitment of their respective countries to accompany the President Martelly in its efforts to improve the living conditions of the Haitian people.

The Head of State expressed the hope that the work of new ambassadors be fruitful, both for their country and for the people of Haiti.
