The President Michel Joseph Martelly, sends its warmest congratulations to the new President of Paraguay, Mr. Horacio Cartes for his election to the Paraguayan presidential, held this Sunday, April 21, 2013.

"The Head of State took the opportunity to formulate his best wishes to the President-elect of Paraguay, upon assuming his new duties. The President Martelly, on behalf of the Government and people of Haiti, reaffirms its commitment to work towards the strengthening of relations between the two countries and hoped that the bilateral cooperation between Paraguay and Haiti, will strengthen under the new administration."
