Friday, Pierre-Richard Casimir, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mrs Mireya Agueri De Corrales, Assistant Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Honduras, signed a framework agreement of bilateral cooperation, at Karibe Convention Center, on the sideline of the fifth Summit of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS).

At the end of this agreement, which aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Haiti and Honduras, the the two States undertake to define and implement joint programs and projects of cooperation in areas of common interest based on priorities defined in their respective national development plan.

It is planned including of projects of reforestation, agricultural development, exchange of experience and knowledge in environmental management, of prevention and management of major natural hazards, capacity building, sustainable development and poverty reduction.
