Haiti - Politic : The Orlando City proclaimed May 18 «Haitian Flag Day»

The Consulate of the Republic of Haiti in Orlando wishes to inform that on May 6, 2013 Commissioner Samuel B. Ings, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Orlando City Council presented to Consul Laurent Prosper, Chief of Mission, a proclamation declaring May 18th as "Haitian Flag Day" throughout Orlando.
The Consulate takes this opportunity to remind everyone of the Haitian Flag Day celebration with "A Taste of Haiti" scheduled for May 18'h 2013 at the Dr. I. Sylvester Hankins Park. Please come and commemorate the 210th year of our bicolor by joining us in this special and free event.
