Haiti - Politic : Message of President Martelly
While waiting for the official commemorative activities of the 210th anniversary of our national bicolour in Arcahaie, this Saturday 18 May and its traditional and patriotic speeches of our politicians, including that of the Head of the State that he should pronounces later in the morning, the President of the Republic, Michel Martelly share with you this short message :

"This May 18, 2013 brings the 210th anniversary of our national bicolor, date marking the union of blacks and mulattoes in the fight for freedom, a struggle that led to the emergence of an independent Nation, Haiti Cherie.

Struggle that has matured our ancestors and determined them o build a future for all Haitians.

Hence my commitment and that of my Government to prioritize education and citizenship, including also that it is united that we can be strong and big.

On the occasion of 210 anniversary of our national flag, I would like to pay tribute to our Motherland, to the girls of Haiti, to the son of Haiti, to this diaspora, hich, despite its distance from the homeland, and all the difficulties associated with it, remains faithful, faithful to its roots and its commitment in favor of a more beautiful Haiti, more prosperous.

Then we all bow before our national flag, a symbol of pride, unity and freedom. Haiti one flag, one people, one Nation."
