Haiti - NOTICE : Commissioning of the new transformer at the substation of Ancien Delmas
The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs its customers in particular and the general public that the work of commissioning (connection) of new 50 MVA transformer at the substation of Ancien Delmas will begin this Tuesday, June 18 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, during which the municipalities of Delmas, Nazon, Christ-Roi, Clercine and Silot among others, will be without electricity.

This installation is intended to replace the old 21 MVA old transformer, inoperative since April 25, causing a major reduction in power hours of customers of the municipality of Delmas, of Clercine and its surroundings.

The teams of the EDH are hard at work to correct this situation as soon as possible, however, given the complexity of the installation, the EDH, is not yet able to give a precise date for the full recovery of hours of supply.
