Haiti - Diplomacy : Haitian Government expresses solidarity with Nelson Mandela
The Government of the Republic, on behalf of the Haitian people, expresses its solidarity to former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, hospitalized since June 8, following a lung infection.

Former President Mandela, icon of the struggle against apartheid and fervent defender of multiracial democracy in South Africa, has inspired many men and women around the world who struggle daily against the tyranny and oppression for a better tomorrow.

Also, the Government of Haiti testifies him its respect and gratitude for his invaluable contribution to the long march of humanity towards a more just and fraternal world.

The Haitian Government who wishes speedy recovery to Mr. Mandala, expresses its full support to his family and the brave people of South Africa.
