Haiti - NOTICE : Call for expressions of interest for the tourism development of the île-à-Vache 01/07/2013 14:18:57
This call aims at selecting developers and private investors, domestic and foreign, seeking to build and wishing to develop tourist sites or provide tourism and related services in the community of the Île-à-Vache. The deadline for the receipt of proposals is Monday, August 12, 2013 before 3:00 pm, at the Ministry of Tourism or via investissements@haititourisme.gouv.ht. An information session regarding this AMI is scheduled Monday, July 15, 2013 from 3:00 pm to the Ministry, where the Tourism Development Plan of the Île-à-Vache must be submitted. Developers and interested investors may consult the guidelines document and its appendices at : https://www.tourisme.gouv.ht/images/all_medias/Ile-a-vache%20Proposition%20de%20Developpement%20Tourisitique.pdf The objective of the Government, through the Ministry of Tourism, is to develop on the island, sustainable tourism, of low density, capable of guaranteeing the preservation of cultural integrity, ecosystem and biodiversity. This type of tourism development will also promote the social and economic vitality of the island.
