Haiti - Tourism : Development of Basin Zim

Monday, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism met, a steering committee around a development project of the natural site of Bassin Zim, located in the Central Department.

This working session was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Planning, of the Environment and the Directorate General of Taxes. Other personalities also attended the meeting, including the Mayor of Hinche, Emmanuel Philippe, Édouard Paultre, Coordinator of the Civil Society Initiative (ISC) and Consultant for the European Union in the framework of this project and the Delegate of the Department of the Centre Georges Garnier. "Our strategy is to convert the beautiful Haitian natural sites, in tourist sites," said the Minister of Tourism.

À l’issue de cette rencontre, les participants se sont dit très heureux de l'action du Ministère du Tourisme, qui annoncé pour bientôt, les premiers investissements dans le cadre de ce projet.

After the meeting, participants said they were ery pleased with the work of the Ministry of Tourism announced for soon, the first investment in this project.
