Haiti - Agriculture : President Martelly visited the town of Luly

On Friday, President Michel Martelly, accompanied by Charles Jean Jacques, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour and Michel Chancy, Secretary of State for Animal Production, was in visit in the town of Luly (Arcahaie) to supervise the Aquaculture Project of this zone.

Funded to the tune of 9 million gourdes by the Haitian Government, the project consists of fish farming for the benefit of the population of the area. Through this aquafarm, which operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Government Martelly-Lamothe aims to create opportunities for the people of Luly.
