Haiti - Reconstruction : Infrastructure Works for drinking water in Cap-Haitien 23/07/2013 09:34:03 In "Titans" and Fort St-Michel, another tank of 200,000 gallons supplies 60,000 people with drinking water. The first phase of the rehabilitation cost five million dollars financed by the Haitian State, the European Union, the Inter-American Development Bank and Oxfam GB. The Head of State expressed his satisfaction with the efforts of state institutions concerned, to meet the needs of Capois and reiterated its determination to implement the necessary steps to allow Haitian families to be able to supply in drinking water. Note that the Dinepa has already conducted a study to provide the entire city of Cap-Haitien and its suburbs with a distribution network modern for rinking water. 400,000 people are expected to benefit from the project, according to projections by the engineer Emmanus Dorval, Technical Director to the Dinepa.
