Haiti - Education : 12th edition of the Entrepreneurship Fair (Mexico) 11/08/2013 10:16:37
In his remarks for the occasion, Ambassador Lamothe praised the quality of the projects and the work of students who have demonstrated perseverance and creativity "Education is essential to the progress of a country and the fruits of your work will contribute to the influence of Mexico," strongly wishing collaboration between the educational centers of Haiti and the UCI.  Faithful to the vision of the Government Martelly-Lamothe to make education a priority, Ambassador Lamothe express the wish to see Haitian students attend Cuautitlan Izcalli University, which offers a high quality education. To this end, the Ambassador and officials of the University, are about to sign a cooperation agreement, providing specific agreements, according the needs of the UCI and of Haitian institutions. This agreement should be signed on the sidelines of the first Latin American Congress of educational investigation and education through competence, August 24, with the participation, of leaders of private universities in Port-au-Prince, invited to this congress. For his part, rector Juan Manuel Gutierrez Pilon proved completely open to academic alliances with Haiti. "The cooperation between universities is a decisive mechanisms to strengthen the education system," he said.
