Haiti - Culture : Haiti in the 11th Edition of the Festival CARIFESTA (Surinam)

All measures are taken to ensure that the performance of Haitian music, fashion, design, crafts, culinary art, traditional practices, dance, etc... are perfect at the Festival of Arts of the Caribbean (CARIFESTA), Surinam from 16 to August 25.

The Ministry of Culture, supported by the President, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tourism, Economy and Finance and that of Commerce and Industry, are working to meet all the conditions for Haiti sparkles in Paramaribo, the capital of Surinam.

Josette Darguste, acting Minister of Culture explained that the challenge of the festival, was the fact that Haiti will host the festival in 2015 "The quality of Haitian exhibitions and the experiences of Paramaribo, will serve us as a test of preparation."

Haiti, that will receive the torch of Suriname, will take advantage of the visibility offred by this important event to promote, of course, of the art and Haitian culture, but also the tourist attractions of Haiti.
