"[...] We will now put the first stone for the reconstruction of the Catholic Church of Petit-Goâve, which was destroyed in the earthquake of January 2010, this church will always exist. Unemployment is widespread, very few people work, others earn their living by doing odd jobs and small business [...] We need to keep our environment clean, everyone must participate in garbage collection and the fight against filth. Everyone should do something for the community, this is the only way we will feel proud. Recycling trash can be a source of income for the country, we must enter in this type of profitable business [...] Our ancestors sacrificed, to leave us this land, we need to reconstruct Haiti, making it a true country chasing myths and the 'fatras' of the corruption [...] Leaders must change their behavior fully assuming their responsibilities and get noticed positively. [...] That the 350 years of Petit-Goâve, be for the Petit-Goâviens the opportunity to change their heart, mind and revive the city on the path of development."
