Haiti - Culture : 27 frescoes of Haitian artists exhibited at the United Nations
The exhibition "The Haitian Painting in UN" (La Peinture Haïtienne à l'ONU) whose opening took place earlier this week, which runs until August 27, is carried out under the auspices of the Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in New York, in collaboration with the club "Aux Antilles", which brings together Haitian officials of the UN, with the support of President Martelly, a great friend of art.

27 frescoes of Haitian artists from 1950 to the present day, works of St Brice, Beauvoir, Théard, Dubreuil, Dambreville, Laurenceau, Armand, Brudent, Brintle, Girault and Malebranche, are exposed inside the Secretariat of the United Nations.

At the opening of this exhibition, Jan Eliasson, Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, congratulated the Consul General of Haiti in New York, Charles Antoine Forbin for this splendid exhibition that according to him, reflects the spirit of the Haitian people, whose he said to admire the tenacity and assured Haiti of its full solidarity.

An exhibition not to be missed.
