The results of the baccalaureate exams 1st and 2nd parts are now available for all academic departments since 24 August 2013. According to figures provided by the National Bureau of state examinations (BUNEXE), the overall success rate is of 28.63% for Rhéto and 63,04% for Philo, an improvement compared to last year. Recall that in 2011-2012 the overall success rate was 26.97% for Rétho and 60.65% for Philo.

For the Bac first part, the better success rate is for the Centre (31.98%), followed by the West (30.17%) and the Northeast (29.41%). The lowest is for Northwest (21.29%).

For Philo, the best success rate is for Centre (85 71%), followed by Nippes (81.64%) and Northeast (78.30%). The lowest is for the SouthEast (53.95%).

In a statement, the Ministry of National Education, inform the general public and the educational community in particular that the special session of the bac exams (1st and 2nd parts) and New Secondary will takes place from 2 to 6 September 2013.

The unsuccessful candidates will compose only in matters in which they have not received their average (5/10).

The list with the names of the candidates by Examination Centre will be published shortly to guide candidates to their examination center. According to the predictions, a total of 86,939 candidates are expected in Rhéto as adjourned and 18,815 in Philo.

Moreover, to facilitate the process of delivery of records and certificates of candidates admitted to the bac exams, given the increasing number of applications during the month of August 2013, the Ministry of Education informs the interested that points of collection and delivery of applications were created in alphabetical order.

1) Candidates, from the letter A to E: MENFP Central Office Street # 5 Dr. Audain

2) From the letter F to the letter M: Lycée de Petionville, Petionville (Place St-Pierre)

3) From the letter N to the letter T: Lycée du Cent-Cinquantenaire (street Capois)

4) From the letter U to the letter Z: National School Republic of the USA (Bois-Patate).

This measure is in application from Tuesday, August 27, and will remain in effect until further notice. The employee assigned will provide service from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in the places mentioned.
